We're excited to announce that 3DK's pin system was granted a patent earlier this year! 

To celebrate, and to thank you for helping keep an eye out for our IP in the community, we're giving RukiBot as our gift to you! Every one of RukiBot's connections uses our pin system, and he features interchangeable tools and weapons for fighting 3D printing evil.

3DK Pin System Goal: Make 3D Printed Models Easier To Print And More Reliable To Assemble!

We started designing models when Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, Pinshape, Cults3D, and other platforms were just getting started. At that time we saw a need to engineer better models with easier assembly that also featured support-free printing. So far it seems we've hit our mark on both of those fronts and it's all thanks to your continued support! It's been such a fun 5 years and a real blast to explore these developments with our community.
